Street and Sanitation

The City of American Falls utilizes the Rapid Rail System for garbage collection. This system is fully automated and features heavy plastic containers, a hydraulic lift and special truck. The driver, from the inside of the truck, operates that lift which clamps onto the plastic containers, dumping garbage into the truck. This system has proven to be a cost effective and efficient process.
